Since its inception in 2000, the annual Starry, Starry Night Gala has become a huge success by raising funds to enhance the College’s ability to provide educational excellence.
 
State funding is not sufficient to meet critical needs of the instructional areas for many of the programs we offer. With your sponsorship of the Gala, you help to provide students with hands-on education in classroom environments and in “real world” learning labs. You are helping to create a high-quality, local work force that meets the demands of the current and future job market.
 
 Proceeds from this year’s Gala support the purchase of high-tech classroom equipment and scholarship opportunities for workforce training certificate programs and international education. The high-tech classroom equipment provides hands-on learning opportunities for our students, while the workforce training certificate programs prepare students for high demand jobs that lead to long-term employment. Scholarships will focus on these short-term programs in allied health and technical/trades training. Certificates may include, but are not limited to advanced manufacturing, HVAC, general maintenance, dental assistant, kitchen and food safety, phlebotomy technician, and pharmacy technician. Scholarships for international education provide students the ability to study abroad and expand their horizons.
